Last email I had from my OB guy stated still looking at June arrival, but this was mid May so who knows at this point. I'll send another email in a few weeks to check status again.

I have been in communication with my OB as this is going to be my first omega watch and he stated they hopefully should start receiving their first batch of shipments in the next 2 weeks.

I was at a Tudor event last night organised by my AD and during our conversation they told me that they believed delivery would be around the end of July. More worrying was the news that Omega are still withdrawing allocations to AD's and giving them to OB's. They had been allocated one trilogy set which had been sold, the guy paying a £10k deposit and they have just been told they will not be getting the set! That will be a difficult phone call. I'm just hoping that doesn't happen with the individual Speedmasters.Incidentally they said they had one Seamaster allocation still available.

Honestly, I doubt what they said being true. Omega would withdraw allocation from an AD only and if it was not reserved yet for a client. And that would be common sense, we must agree. If an AD may not utilise its allocation, has not paid for the set as stock and there is an overwhelming demand at other places...

I hope you are right, the only thing is I can't see what reason they would have to say anything if it were not true, after all their allocation had been cut before when they had buyers lined up, I was lucky to be first on the list.

Have you tried on a Speedy FOIS, herold? If not, you might want to consider it as they are both about the same size. 38.6mm VS 39.7mm for the FOIS. Both have 19mm lugs.

I think he's implying it's too small for his wrist...

For those that already have one reserved, have you received any update on what number you are assigned? I put my deposit for one 3 days after the speedy was announced, but have had little communication/updates from my OB.
I've not heard anything as of now. Was going to swing by my OB this weekend if I had a moment and see what update may be waiting

If only that were true. You'd be surprised. When the snoopy first came out I had one reserved at my AD. Omega pulled it from us claiming they had accidentally oversupplied or whatever. This meant they pulled the only one coming to that AD! Whether or not it was accidental misallocation or my snoopy ended up in the hands of an OB is another question. Luckily I was able to source it elsewhere or I would have been one very unhappy bunny. Wouldn't be surprised if they cited another misallocation issue here too. 557 trios made and there is a serious amount of demand for them. Fingers crossed I don't go through a similar experience with this set!!!

I posted in the other thread as well but I spoke to my OB today. They're not expecting my watch until July.

I had a situation like that. Was misled by what AD told me and was angry at Omega. Afterwards i met a guy with my watch, bought a month later after was told Omega cancelled the only reservation they got. Since then i call it O(mega)verbooking. So everythibg depends on your value in the eyes of AD. Might be that as well in your case.

That's a stunning pic, alot of photos I've seen don't seem to do this watch full justice.

I'm growing impatient with Omega. I want muh damn Speedy!! They should've issued buyers with 100% "deposits" Seamaster loaners LOL

I was told by my AD that they expect to get the speedy in by mid-July. They're located in Texas if that helps anyone.

For those that have reserved from OB before for any LE over the years, what has your experience been? This lack of communication seems odd to me, but from all the back and forth on the forums, sounds like this is business as usual.
