Finally! Picked mine up last night. Haven't taken it off since. The wait was slow and painful but I'm happy now...
Great news! I'm hoping to post the same message before 2018 🤔
Update 10December 2017: picked up watch before NewYear.

Damn, it is perfect 😲

Thanks for confirming our assumptions!
So 7k and no Geneva stripes or perlage... well, I'll stick with my vintage watches after this one and only brand new purchase 🤪
Well, to be semi-fair, I think they only do the striping on the 1863 movements anyway. Looks to me like the standard 1861 as advertised.

So how many of you folks are still waiting for your delivery, and has anybody managed to secure one recently? Sounds like still quite a few waiting which is crazy. I agree this could have been handled way better. For info, I actually got mine from an AD who wasn't even expecting to get a single watch. I was on a reserve list at their sister shop and got the call. This was one of the first deliveries in the UK which doesn't make sense.

I am also on another AD list, so still have a chance of another but they have no clue when the watches are arriving.

Still waiting having ordered from an AD in March. To be fair I was told by Omega during the summer that delivery would not be until October. They still have five days!

I think I already know the answer to this question - but I already received my LE Speedy. However, I still have my name down on an AD’s list where I live (put my name down at two places initially). I was going to take my name off the list since I already got mine, but the AD told me that he has no waiting list behind me, so I haven’t taken my name off yet. I was thinking that if I thought the Speedy’s price will appreciate then I wear the one I already have comfortably, and have a backup (either to keep or to sell later), but I honestly don’t think that the prices will go up, given the number of pieces, as well as anticipated future LEs.

So, I think I will take my name off the list (if anyone is still interested in getting their name on the list, let me know!) - but does anyone have a different opinion?

I would let the next person who wants it enjoy.

I got mine in early October. The issue I was told is that the Speedy Tuesday Special edition caused some of the backlog issues.

Issues with what, not knowing what to do with all the money they're taking in?

Get another if you like it and can afford it. Like a backup. Future value shouldn’t matter

There’s going to be new LEs. Would you want two of the same?

I had the opportunity to take an extended weekend trip down to NYC for the Worn & Wound's Wind-Up Watch Fair. There were a lot of the micro brands you rarely or never get to see in the flesh.

After a few hours at the fair, I immediately headed to the OB on Madison Ave. I was hoping to get some 'intel' on Omega process for Trilogy deliveries. They said, "It's first come, first serve." I follow-up with, "First-come, first serve by OB? What about those of us who order from an AD?" Their response, "First come, first serve, regardless of OB or AD." I'm still a sceptic on that!

Fortunately, they had one available for viewing. He offered to let me try it on. However, I was reluctant since it's not my watch. He said the owner was out of town and had no problems with people trying it on as long as we don't put it on one of the straps.

Once I put it on the wrist, there was an immediate sense of relief. I've never ordered a watch without seeing it in the flesh. So, I've a strong mixture of excitement and anxiety about this one. The dial is stunning even with the plastic still on. Hopefully, I will receive mine before the end of the year!

I agree, Mach. All things considered, the watch is perfection. Just really special and well worth the wait. Good luck to getting yours in the very near future.

If there is someone in the Bay Area looking for a LE Speedy - Tourbillon SF - they are taking a deposit (although they don’t know when they are taking delivery). They will take partial deposit.

Anyone else is still waiting the delivery?

I’ve ordered the speedy the first day of the launch at OB

They allowed me to pick my favorite number..

But until now, they always says it’s coming...☹️
