Has anyone tried to open the watch to see the mouvement? I'm curious to know if Omega stuffed the very basic one or a properly decorated version... you know for 7k!

Come at me, bro.
Everything is pretty much identical to the regular Speedy. It also has the iron dust cover/cap piece holding the movement in like all the regular 1861 non-exhibition caseback watches. Only thing I noticed is that they didn't decorate the inside of the caseback with the pretty perlage finishing thingy like the standard Speedy. Sad!
Bravo for opening her up...
As long as mine purrs like a kitten , and runs like a a Singer sewing machine for 60 years, I don’t care what the engine looks like, IMHO.
Sounds like you are the perfect candidate to own a Pam 318! 😗

Damn, it is perfect 😲
Thanks for confirming our assumptions!
So 7k and no Geneva stripes or perlage... well, I'll stick with my vintage watches after this one and only brand new purchase 🤪
Finally! Picked mine up last night. Haven't taken it off since. The wait was slow and painful but I'm happy now...
