Yes, one screw was missing when the bracelet fell apart. The other screw on the opposite side of the link was firm in place.
WHY did Omega design a bracelet with two screws, one on each side of the bracelet links? One would excpect that Omega wanted to add extra security: if you lose one screw, the second screw should still hold the bracelet together and save the watch.
But once its clear that the bracelet can fall apart when losing only one single screw - like in my case - then this 2-screw solution is very tricky: by using TWO screws - one on each side of the link - the probability of losing a screw and loosing the watch is now doubled.
