It's here. My OB received it yesterday, and I was there shortly thereafter to get it. Nothing like scotch and a watch to celebrate.

Congratulations, SL!

Dudes! Finally got the call and picked up my 60th ‘57 Speedy last night from the Tyson’s Corner, VA OB I love the watch and plan to keep it. Well worth the wait.

Very envious, ordered mine in March and still no sign in southern U.K.! Still I have an invite from my AD to a Chopard evening on Thursday so I'll be able to have an 'off topic' chat then!

Dudes! Finally got the call and picked up my 60th ‘57 Speedy last night from the Tyson’s Corner, VA OB. Diego, my OB representative, made it a great luxury watch buying experience. The complimentary bottle of champagne to help celebrate the occasion was icing on the cake. I’ll post more photos after my new B&S straps arrive. As to my initial impression, I love the watch and plan to keep it. Well worth the wait.

That's the wrong box....

Serious question, though. Anyone else's black leather bag smell like shitake mushrooms?
YES, and the dye seems to stain the corduroy lining of the box.
I isolated mine pretty quickly!

Hello Scott
excuse me~
Besides the original SP box, did the OB give you the one more wood-watch box for gift ?

I agree.

Kit should be a large box with a watch roll, extra straps and tool.

Correct pics were posted previously. Maybe the 60th was just "displayed" in the wood box for pics.

The original red vintage-style box is in transit. I was given the wood box as a gift.

The delivery order seems the OB FIRST from Europe, USA, Asia-Japan, Hongkong and Taiwan etc. AD is the next BIG turn ...
As for reservation at AD like me, I have waited from mid April....However, the LE Seamaster was obtained at last Thursday.

Just got the call and was told that my LE number is 1263! Should be here in the next day or two!

Buy the 60th, compare it to the ST, and then flip the one less desirable to you. Don't flip the ST without securing the 60th in your hands first.

That's a great advice! I absolutely agree. 😁😁

Seconded. If you have both in hand, that's the best way to avoid the regret of 'the other'. Good problem to have though!

Hi everyone!

I've been a silent reader but I think the time has come to do some contribution. First of all, thank you all for the posts which helped my impatience, visiting and reading everyday, for this amazing piece. Congrats to the all new owners! I've tried all the combinations and the watch is great on the bracelet and on the nato as well, but the leather strap really works for me. I haven't seen many pictures of the watch on the leather and next to an another watch, so hope these would be helpful to the potential owners

Thanks for sharing the photos, I was also wondering why so few people wear it on the leather strap. I think it looks great and will also age very well, judging the type of leather from the photo.

On the plus side, as nice as the bracelet is, I know that I would hat the scratches that are inevitable on the polished parts and the buckle.
