Got the call from the Chicago OB today. The watch completely exceeds my expectations in person. The build is very solid and the size is perfect...I think it will comfortably fit wrists of all sizes. I have a wrist a little over 6 inches and the moon watch always seemed too big. This one, while perhaps similar from lug to lug wears smaller in my opinion. I went to the OB unsure if I would actually keep the watch (bought a grail while waiting) but know I am completely in love now.

As others have pointed out, the only thing keeping me from giving this a 100% is the buckle, which is thicker than I think would best suit the watch.

I agree. The execution on this bird is just awesome. The adjustable clasp is a big plus for me.

I’m really looking forward to getting mine. In fact, I may try to get two of them if I can. Keep one in storage and one in the rotation box. I think this watch is that special.

Got mine in. Impression: meh. Likely going to flip it. The 3570.50 is better in every way except the whole being an LE thing.

Anyone else here Asian? The black leather pouch that holds the tools and straps literally smells like shitake mushrooms. Not what I was expecting at all.

Also, I thought I would like an adjustable clasp on the Speedy but I absolutely hate it. It's actually slightly thicker than on my Planet Ocean 8900. What the heck were they thinking? The balance of the entire watch is thrown off by that clasp.

Well, I'm not surprised by the clasp. I saw photos before, and anyway, the only good modern clasp I ever saw is from Apple.
I bought a 1035 bracelet on Ebay for my EW, pretty sure it will end up on the Speedy 60th. 😁😁

Anyone noticed a very fine line on their rehaut ring? Just curious if anyone has one or if mine is just broken, damaged, etc. You may have to zoom in to see it.

The ring is split - that's normal...

Thanks Al. I never knew that, and just always assumed it was a single continuous piece. As always, thanks for droppin’ some knowledge.
