·To ease the wait and because I missed out on the ST, Omega have sent me a copy of the Speedy Tuesday magazine (which is a great read) and the 60th Anniversary poster, both received in the last couple of days.
As posted before I am not expecting the Speedmaster until September/October so not getting too excited at the moment!

Haha, I do feel like that! Hilarious. I was on a waiting list for six months for my ceramic Daytona, I'll laugh my ass off if the Anniv Speedmaster takes longer than the Daytona. At this point it seems likely.

·I'm on my AD's Daytona list for 13 months now. Come at me, bro. I wake up and waitlist for breakfast!
I called to be put on waitlist (March 2016) day of release and haven't heard a word yet.... After 17 months and with little hope even for the coming year or so, I know a thing or two about patience

Because I placed my order with my AD back when it was first announced and it seems like I'll be waiting until at least September
(if not longer) before I find out if they are even getting the watches they've ordered.

Also, I went in not sure if I really wanted the watch so I balked at paying the 100% deposit (also out of "principle") at the OB and ordered from an AD who may or may not get a watch. The longer I wait and look at the photos of the 60th, the surer I get that I really want it though still depending on how it looks on my wrist. I am feeling angst because the desire is growing to the point I may bite the bullet and put down the 100% at the local OB to insure I get to try one on my wrist. 🙁 Maybe writing this post will be therapeutic for me. 😁

Bite the bullet before it’s gone, if you are able to do so and if it’s still available. Otherwise with nearly 3500 pieces, I’m sure you’d be able to find one after. The unsold ones do pop up.
How come no ST paper magazine? You’d get one if you are on the confirmed or waiting list...

My feeling is that deliveries will start anytime soon now. Railmaster and Seamaster deliveries started c.2-to-3 weeks ago, and while they are a bit slow, one could think that they will gather space as clients and staff come back from holiday. And there is no obvious reason why speedmasters would take much longer to manufacture than seamasters and railmasters.
