Get both!
According to my doctor, I need at least one kidney

My brain says Railmaster as it's vintage and yet modern but my heart says Speedy Tuesday.....
This is what happens when Omega releases like 25 LEs at the same time. :/

It's cruel to imply you have all three LE's! Unless you actually do. That hurts too somehow!

Unfortunately, not mine, mikechi22. 'Just sharing a few photo's of the 60th '57 Speedy that I happened upon.

Is this account associated with fratellowatches? They seem to have been given one for review. This may be the same watch.

Have you checked in with them lately? I had to put a full deposit, I'm from the US as well, and I've purchased a watch from them before. From what I heard, 100% deposit required from those in the US. Could be a bunch of bull.
My OB didn't require full deposit only 20%. According to the person i've been dealing with, i'm 3rd on their list of allocations
Damn!
And Monday morning, my dreams of anticipation were dashed on the rock of despair. Par for a Monday

I do not understand all this fuss about the deposit. If you want the watch and if you have the money, what difference does it make if your money is in your bank account, at the Omega shop or under your pillow. You will have to pay the watch anyway soon, and interest rates are zero. Or do I miss something?

Interest is far from zero, but agree otherwise. Luckily Omega London doesn't ask for deposits anyway.

For me it is the concept of basically paying for something, not immediately getting anything in return, and the uncertainty of when you will actually receive the purchased item. My wife and I just purchased a new car and paid cash. I would have had a real problem if I had been required to put a full price deposit on the car if the dealer had had to order the car. I guess it depends on the individual and his/her personal threshold for purchase price.

Besides I would like to try on the watch before I decide to buy it.

But the deposit is refundable so there’s really nothing to lose except the loss of 7k liquidity for the waiting time (to me it is worth at most 300 bucks with a generous assumption of 8% annual investment return and a half year wait).
