Apollo 11 landed on July 24. . .at this point, given that 22 and 23 fall on the weekend. . .what's the harm with waiting until Monday to land on the 24th, given that BUZZ HIMSELF actually did land on the 24th!! 😀

·Went to boutique yesterday to put down deposit. Was told the release has been pushed back to August; so, July is simply out of the question at this point. I'm assuming the speedy tuesday release got in the way? Hoping when the LE does release they have enough on hand to satisfy all deposits without making those who deposited last minute (like myself) wait... thoughts?

··This Space for RentIn my limited time in the watch world, I have seen the Omega rollouts of LEs to sometimes stretch many months from first delivery to last. I do not think they try to make/ stockpile 7,500 watches so they can all be delivered at once -- that would require a lot of storage space, and would also represent $ out of their pocket if the watches were not presold with 100% deposits (and many did not have to deposit 100%).
I would suspect between August and late Fall most will be delivered. but that is just a guess. Mainly I think if you are going to buy a LE, or even a non-LE Basel-release, you should anticipate a 6-12 month wait.

·I've noticed this thread has slowed down quite a bit. So thus I have given up all hope I am getting this watch this summer. Sigh. NOOOOOOOOOOO!! Someone convince me otherwise.

I heard a couple weeks ago that an AD overseas had been told to expect their allotment around the end of the first week in August. I do not know if that has changed at this point, but even if it slips some I suspect it will still be in August. I am guessing that will be the start of deliveries, and they will stretch over a couple/ few months (it is 7,500 watches, after all!)

I would not be surprised if the date slipped beyond the end of August, and it is rather more watches than above, 557 Trilogy and 3557 of each of the other three. So a lot of watches to deliver, and from reading previous posts a great many of these are already fully paid for!

·I've been saying late August / early September at the earliest for a while now🙁 It's the only way one can maintain their sanity since Omega refuses to provide us with any updates😡

·I visited my AD to discuss the acquisition of a deployant or folding clasp in anticipation of my '57 Trilogy Speedmaster. We looked at the Omega catalogue. He told me that Omega doesn't provide them without the strap. I told him I wasn't concerned since they offered straps in 19/16mm sizes. Diversity is good!
Good research, Mach. I was planning to look into it as well.
