GuiltyBoomerang
·Up for sale is a lovely Landeron 148 powered Cristal Watch chronograph. Has not been serviced whilst in my possession, so please consider one if this will be worn on a daily basis. Asking for $375USD via PayPal including tracked and insured shipping from Australia.
Case dimensions: 36.9mm across without crown, 39.6mm with crown, 46mm lug-to-lug. 18mm lugs. The watch will come on a used 18mm band and wears well on my 6.5" wrist.
Crystal and dial:Crystal has some small marks under bright light, and a scuff mark just over the centre. Dial has aged to a nice even brown patina. Spade hands are elegant as is the blue-steeled seconds sweep. Outer telemetre scale in red is legible as is the central blue snail tachymetre scale. Overall a very elegant looking layout.
Case Condition: Base metal chromium plated case has some marks consistent of use, with a noticeable scuff on the left side of the case and marks on the top left lug. Pushers and knurled crown are in good cosmetic nick. Undersides of top right and left lugs show pitting consistent with wear. Lug ends are sharp. Stainless steel caseback has some scratches with several noticeable marks.
Caseback has one service mark in black marker.
Movement: The 17 jewel Landeron 148 was checked by my watchmaker recently. Currently running and keeping time. Whilst the chronograph starts, stops and resets to zero, I have noticed that the chrono will occasionally stop the watch.
I have buyer and seller references here on the forums, as well as eBay and watchexchange on reddit.
