50s/60s seamaster

My father recently passed and I have inherited his vintage seamaster chronograph. I know very little about it and wondered if anybody can help me.

It’s 34mm diameter. It’s a 321 movement and it’s a ck2907 - which is all a local omega shop told me.

It takes a 17mm strap.
He did say it was quite unusual because of its size.
He thinks 50s or 60s
I’d appreciate any help on this.

It’s been cleaned inside the movement and it had a new crown. I have the originals too.

Lovely heirloom.

I believe that it actually takes an 18mm strap, the current strap is too narrow. The watch is not an unusual size for the era or by Omega standards.

It's highly collectable aside from actual value or sentimental value. I'm not very knowledgeable about these, but Alpha hands always get me especially luminous Alpha hands which seem correct given the lume plots on the hour markers. Nice one!

I'll be looking for people more knowledgeable than me to comment.
Agree with getting an 18mm strap. That was a standard size strap for a gent's watch back then. 17mm is undersized.

Beautiful watch, I’d pick one of these over a speedmaster any day!

Agree, it's a beautiful piece. The dial has that beautiful age to it (which some tend not to like) but gives it character. Great heirloom and wouldn't sell it for the world. A med/dark brown leather strap would work great with it.
