The new smp 300 is so comfortable, especially on the rubber. I have small wrists I guess (175mm. I actually went to Omega to try on the new Speedmaster Racing but it felt so bulky compared to the smp. I bought the smp that day.

What tool do you use to change your bracelet/NATO?

I’ve got the Spectre NATO but so far haven’t found the right tool to switch it over.

I use a plain fork style tool given to me by my dealer. You need to be careful though because it is very easy to scratch the watch if you don't know what you are doing. You should probably take it to a store to have it swapped.

The only downside of my 39.5 is there's no orange bracelet like the one above. I need one of those!

I’m moving this NATO to my PO 39.5. Wasn’t sure about the orange at first but now I really like just a touch or orange. I really like the Omega NATO except its not comfortable to wear single loop. Single loop would reduce some of the height that it adds.

PO 39.5 with Omega NATO
I'll pass on the nato but I do like the 39.5. If I had it to do again (maybe I do) i would take the 39.5 over the 41.5 I do like the orange numerals.
have fun

I'd say that's a good assessment. I have 7" wrists, and while I can pull off the 43mm, the 39.5mm looks more balanced for me. If I had beefier wrists (maybe 8"?), I probably would have gone for the 43mm. I will say, it would likely take a woman with big wrists to pull this watch off, even with a daintier strap. On the bracelet, there's no doubt this is a men's watch (at least according to convention- I realize there are exceptions to every rule).

That’s exactly why I bought the 43mm, the 39mm was too small on my wrist, the 43mm is bang on. It’s good to have the option of either watch depending on your wrist size though, a good move from Omega.

For the vast majority of people, 40mm is the perfect watch size, just look at the best selling timepieces on the planet (Rolex) the are all 40mm, looks good on big and small wrists
Rolex is definitely not "the best selling timepiece" on the planet. That would be casio probably lol. But they do make a nice watch 😉

The He valve looks like a wart on someone's face. You can't stop staring at it. You also want to cut that f%$^er off!

It only bothers you if you decide it's ugly. I actually like the valve. I feel it gives the case balance. Style is subjective though. I'm not a big fan of the new he valves that look like Reese's peanut butter cups

I feel the same way about the PO, I like the He valve, it gives it a bit more of a tool look and is very distinctive of the Seamaster professional line. I sometimes imagine my PO without the valve and feels it would look naked. The new SM300 He valve is a bit too big for my taste though.

I’ve been wearing my new PO 39.5 for about a month now. While I really like the watch I couldn’t help thinking that it was a touch too small for my 6.75 - 7.0” flat wrist. As someone else mentioned this is probably because the lug distance is very short. Increasingly, the thought that a better size PO might exist in the 43.5 kept lingering and tormenting me. So, finally I decided to purchase a PO 43.5 figuring that I will either keep it and sell the 39.5 or return it and pay a $100 restock fee. Either way it would force an informed decision. Well, I can tell you that for someone with an in-between wrist size this is more difficult than deciding a name for your first born son. At times I would convince myself that the 43.5 was just right, while at other times, I felt like it had way to much mass. I came to the realization that it was my ego really wanted the 43.5 to work. The 43.5 doesn’t look out of place on my flat wrist. The bezel measures 42mm and seems like a nice size. But, what bothered me about the 43.5 is that it felt a bit top-heavy and for me this was its undoing. I’m active and like to wear my watch without noticing it moving around. The 39.5, is noticeable smaller, but only smaller when compared to the 43.5. On it’s own, the 39.5 is a substantial cases size. On my wrist it feels better than the 43.5. They both look great, but the 39.5 just feels better. So the watch is going back. It cost me a $100, but it was totally worth it. Moral of the story; try-on these watches whenever possible. When buying online this can be tricky. The 39.5 isn’t the “perfect size” for me, but for regular wear it’s better than the 43.5. Hoping they slim down the 43.5 on the next release.

This is exactly why I went with the 42mm PO.
I went back and forth between the 39.5 and the 43.5.
One felt to small and the other to big.

They are not cheap so it has to be the right one, so try them on as many time possible before you pull the trigger!!

I feel that when there are too many choices, it is just create anxiety... When you buy a Submariner, you only have a 40mm (ok new subs seem to be 41mm now), no choice, and no one seems bothered by it being too small.
