I hafe a 3572 and 3590. I did not care for the copper colored movement of the 3592.50 before, but now I would like to add one to my collection. Speedies are funny that way: once you start, you can't stop.

I’m looking at a 3572 for sale at an out of state dealer. Red box and warranty card included serial 484xxxx, says 8/99 on warranty card w a AD sticker in Asian (think it’s Japan). Listed price $3600. We will be discussing it further tomorrow due to me having a trade.

I see. It is interesting that many of these watches were originally sold in Japan.

Perhaps because Japanese took care of things really nicely everyday? I know this sounds stereotypical, but from my experience collecting vinyl records, every piece coming from Japan was in excellent condition, no exceptions in the past 5 years. Not the case for the LPs from US and UK…

That probably has something to do with it!

I used to own a Taiwan papered 16710 Blue/Red bezel, complete set before trading it for another 16710 Black/Red. That 16710 I traded was exceptionally clean & not even the paperwork had a single crease in it. I’m really tossed in picking up this 3572, it comes w the Red box, warranty card along w 13 links (seller has a few spares to include somewhere) if it’s short a complete set.

So I made the deal & have a 484xxxx serial 1999 Japan designated 3572 inbound, red box along with white outer and 8/99 dated warranty card (13 links) but dealer should have 3 more to send me. Hope it’s running within 5 seconds give or take at least. It’s been tested and polished. See when it arrives in next couple of days.

I purchased a luminova 3572.50 (here on the snoopy band):

But shortly afterwards started to look for a 3592.50 as liked the gilt movement and wanted the patina on the dial. I bought a 3592.50 from Japan that thought was the regular, unnumbered edition, but to my surprise it is a numbered edition 3592.50 😲 (see https://omegaforums.net/threads/the...ter-apollo-xi-3592-50-numbered-edition.85991/)

Here the 3592.50 (cal 863, left) and the 3572.50 (cal 1863, right); different caseback inscriptions and movements:

Here my 3592 on the snoopy band:

and on the 1450/808 band:

Both are nice models, but think 3592.50 is a better choice over the 3572.50 (unless you can buy a transitional 3572 with 863 movement and tritrium dial) 😉

They look great, I love the early patina on the 3592’s. I might pick one up in the near future or just save for that beautiful blue dial/bezel Apollo limited 2005 model.

Watch arrived as described, 13 links which fits perfectly (seller sourcing a few extras). Japan AD stamped card, inner and outer boxes. Need to wrinse it off, looks dusty in person but here are the pics taken few min ago.

Ty, I noticed being it’s a 1999 it has the flush sided clasp without tabs. It appears 2000 & up 3572’s all have the tabs on the sides of the clasp. Looks almost new, seller said they lightly polish them when needed and look them over, service if needed and thinks it was serviced. I’m new w the Chrono style watch so I’m watching YouTube videos on how to operate it. Don’t laugh.

As of almost 22 hours of wearing it and removing 3572 overnight for bed time it’s running right at +9 so that is within spec which should be -1 to + 11. This a visual look over and not time graphed.

May I ask how much your final purchase price came out to be?

I have a ‘99 3572.50 from Singapore 484xxxxx serial box and papers.

I traded 2 watches and got back $$. His asking price was $3650 if I recall. The boxes that came with it are the same ones from my 2006 Seamaster 2531.80 (not 100% sure if that was correct boxes for a late 90s 3572).

Nice! It's good to have a comparison of the two. I have a 3572, which I modded with the Italian dial, but I have found myself eyeing the 3592 for quite some time now.
