·I hafe a 3572 and 3590. I did not care for the copper colored movement of the 3592.50 before, but now I would like to add one to my collection. Speedies are funny that way: once you start, you can't stop.

I see. It is interesting that many of these watches were originally sold in Japan.
Perhaps because Japanese took care of things really nicely everyday? I know this sounds stereotypical, but from my experience collecting vinyl records, every piece coming from Japan was in excellent condition, no exceptions in the past 5 years. Not the case for the LPs from US and UK…
I purchased a luminova 3572.50 (here on the snoopy band):
But shortly afterwards started to look for a 3592.50 as liked the gilt movement and wanted the patina on the dial. I bought a 3592.50 from Japan that thought was the regular, unnumbered edition, but to my surprise it is a numbered edition 3592.50 😲 (see https://omegaforums.net/threads/the...ter-apollo-xi-3592-50-numbered-edition.85991/)
Here the 3592.50 (cal 863, left) and the 3572.50 (cal 1863, right); different caseback inscriptions and movements:
Here my 3592 on the snoopy band:
and on the 1450/808 band:
Both are nice models, but think 3592.50 is a better choice over the 3572.50 (unless you can buy a transitional 3572 with 863 movement and tritrium dial) 😉
