    All,

After posting my newest 2367 I learned that the dial had been reprinted. Notice that the size of the Omega symbol is larger than it should be and the shape is slightly different than an original. Also, the font size is off on the "Omega" and it's not centered correctly below "chronometre".

This ends up being a great opportunity for all of us to learn something:) Fortunately I purchased it from a reputable seller that allowed me to return it. All's well that ends well!

    Michael

Apparently, I've neglected checking in to this thread.

The rest are all 2364s - I'll have to downsize images from my files as they're too large to post here.

I recall reading somewhere online that Omega still had service dials for these references up 'til about twenty years ago. My sense is that yours was an authentic Omega service dial. Recently saw an rg located in Germany that went for serious money - also likely a service dial similar to yours.

This is my sole example (so far, perhaps)—2367. From the ex-Kyle collection!

I'm sticking this here even though it's not a 30t2rg. Any lawsuits can be directed to my attorney.

My second 'French Chronometre' this model is well documented in the wonderful book penned by our very own Erich, in fact his book helped me pull the trigger on this quickly before anyone else did. Really special watch, near untouched and with a stunning original dial. This watch has helped refocus my collection firstly back on Omegas and secondly back on Omega RG Chronometre's, along with this just added a near perfect 2520 352RG in 14K. they really do wear well

    Thanks Achim

I particularly like these French RG's as with the exception of the movement the watch is unique to French market, including dial and French made case, they are also larger than the standard RG, whilst not quite 'jumbo' at 35.5mm

What a great thread! How come I still did not find my desired 30 cal chronometer?

PS: I have been away for the forum since quite a while. Anyone could tell me how to find @mac_omega Erich’s book? It would be a great self made present for Christmas!
