Ha yes newark airport to penn station! Was worried about wearing in today's rain but got the sun peaking out on way back home.
2366 pink gold bezel/stainless at 36mm. Silver “star” dial...I have read for some markets the “star” was used in lieu of “Chronometre”. Did not bookmark source on this. Can anyone back me up on this? Original dial, “yes” or “no”???? (Had to show off correct part # pink crown watchmaker sourced for me!)
The presence of the star in itself does not mean chronometre stndards at all. It was used in some models (like the Teddingtons) to indicate a certain level of accuracy testing, as it was in Zenith watches. The dial, sorry, but is not original at all.
Can you please show me the old crown which was swapped out? The current crown is wrong for that era - with this low serial number the crown should be smooth (without logo) And you should look for correct hour + minute hands - the current ones don´t match. You would need leaf hands, but they are hard to find in the right length and in pink gold
