Silver “star” dial...I have read for some markets the “star” was used in lieu of “Chronometre”. Did not bookmark source on this. Can anyone back me up on this?

·The presence of the star in itself does not mean chronometre stndards at all. It was used in some models (like the Teddingtons) to indicate a certain level of accuracy testing, as it was in Zenith watches.

The current crown is wrong for that era - with this low serial number the crown should be smooth (without logo)
And you should look for correct hour + minute hands - the current ones don´t match.
You would need leaf hands, but they are hard to find in the right length and in pink gold
