I'd add "not living in South America, especially in Brazil." Import taxes are ridiculously high here, so no importing for me -- and finding decent pieces I can afford is close to impossible, even simple ones. In just under a year of collecting (or gathering, rather, since I lack the knowledge and funds to get reeeeally collectible pieces) I only managed to score nine little pieces. 🙁

Hey now, that's not true at all. You can be a wristwatch collector without arms. You just can't be a wristwatch wearer….. unless you get extra long straps and use them as necklaces.
