2915-3 on eBay

The whole thing got screwed up, eBay basically has no control over their users. Two users bid it up and then cancelled their bids for no reason so it dropped back down. Not only did this put people off I think, but I just spoke to the winner who committed to something else after being outbid and had no idea they could still be held accountable when they never once had a leading bid. So...in the end, looks like it's still right here with me 😵‍💫

Hard luck there for you and the underbidder. Guess you get to keep it which isn't such a bad thing after all.

Actually spoke too soon. Looks like it is sold after all. Too cheap! But I guess the market has spoken

Recently Ive noticed a lot of vintage omega selling for less than I would have expected. Things trending downward?

That Bukowski 2915 looked pretty good to me and sold well under what I would have expected. So I dont think only mediocre examples are affected

Bukowskis 🤬‘d that sale up, by rushing to market, and allowing bidders to bid only with a 30k deposit (that they did not advertise) 🤦 The buyer still paid about 115k.

That was a nice watch with a nice story, and the auction house certainly screwed that one up... but it was also not a $400k-nice kinda 2915.
