You can see the listing here—it’s a Buy It Now for $1750 obo.

No real provenance as far as I can see, other than the seller’s story (which I have no reason to doubt) and a photograph. Cool if this is legit.

No movement shot. Don’t think this is for me, but wondering what the experts think about it.

Watch looks good to me from the outside.

And yes, the engravings are different between the Ref. 2384 and 2179, both of which have the same dial for the US Army versions.

I know the reason:

When I watch it on ebay.at or ebay.de (EU) the price is much higher because the import VAT of 20% is already factored in the final price.
This is what I see
