So can we put you down as a “maybe”?
So will the new movement be called calibre 9910? It looks like a 9900 except for the new parts.
It's a certified rate of between 0 and +2. Like many things, the closer you get to perfection, the harder small gains are to achieve. This is pretty much a direct challenge to Rolex with their "superlative" thingy that they certify in-house (in other words, trust us, we've never lied to you in the past right?).
For me the big thing will be if this is certified through another class of METAS ratings or not. If it is, that's pretty big news if you care about actual timekeeping. Certainly not everyone does, as we all collect for our own reasons.
Looks like they're saying it is METAS certified: https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/...ronometer-chronograph-44-25-mm-32930445101003
A lot of haters in here but I'm a big fan. It's probably going to be my next watch if it can stay under 10k, though it probably won't. Excited to see it in person.
Omega saying 11K, so maybe from an AD you're under 10K?
2 subdial and a date just looks...off to me. 3 subdial and a date I could live with.
Was banking on it being in the chronoscope case. I've tried on the racing a number of times and it just looked too big. I'll probably wait until watches and wonders and if nothing great shows up, I'll get the 57' in black.
