Interesting, thanks for the reply.

I have a similar sized wrist to yourself. Between that and the 98000085, fiddlyness of fitting to your wrist aside, which strap did you prefer for looks and comfort?
I'm not him, but I have both and I have no issues with either. They both fit fine and the clasp doesn't bother me on either bracelet/strap, either.

That's reassuring. I'm tempted to go for the ridged one with clasp, love the unique look and I think it was originally an option for the 2538.20 which is a nice bonus.

Oddly enough, the 85 strap was, but they're interchangeable, same case.

For both looks and comfort I would pick the 98000085 over the double ridged strap with butterfly clasp.

I love the look and feel of the “ridged butterfly.”
Despite being a surgeon, I’ve never been able to get the hang of swapping it on and off and so, once it came off a couple of years ago, I’ve never put it back on!!!

That really does look superb, I might end up trying both options.

Found this pic from Google images, credit to ChuckW over on WUS for the photo. Shame he didn't take a pic with the straps the other way around as well but a handy comparison of the two straps.

Both are good straps, just personal preference. Omega also sells a 20mm branded ISOfrane-type strap.
