No more proof is necessary. The racing gods were angry at Lewis Hamilton and smote him down. Hopefully he repents.

Racing gods were not favorable to Lando, either. What a heartbreaker

I feel so sorry for Piere Gasly, hanging on to what have been very worn out rubber 'till two laps from the end before pitting for tyres then he's pinged 5 seconds for pit-lane speed limit.

Another boring race in the books, it’s becoming unwatchable.

Good race in Malayasia once it actually got started. FIA needs to get rid of the Madring and race in Malayasia instead.

Once the race got going it was pretty good. The delay at the end to get the car cleared and get the backmarkers back in order took way too long and there were at least three laps under the safety car that were wasted. These cars are so technical now that any little glitch can stop them cold. Too much technology, too little racecraft, imo. And it's only going to get worse in this quest for Net Zero.

Considering the last two races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi will probably be cancelled due to the war, that would mean only 100 points are remaining in the next four races, ergo Kimi can't be beat since he is 102 points ahead. There has been talk of maybe throwing in a race in Imola in December instead of the last two, but that just delays the inevitable that Kimi becomes the youngest F1 champion ever. Well done by Kimi and the Silver Arrows team. Too bad for George, this season washed away from him.

My wife got me tickets to the Austin Grand Prix for my birthday and I took a friend from Austin that I haven’t seen in years. Sat at turn 15 which means you get to see turns 12-15.

It was a great weekend. Kimi is almost there.

And the t-shirt voted most unlikely to be seen at another GP.

This thread seemed to have dropped off my radar. Last few races have been somewhat boring to me, unfortunately. Hoping next season is better!

I dunno, I think this season has been pretty good. Champions McLaren have struggled, as has Red Bull, ditto Ferrari. Mercedes has come to the fore with Antonelli. Pretty interesting overall.

Malayasia was a pretty good race. USGP was kind of boring with the VSC at the end ruining a potential last lap overtake for a podium between Lewis and Max.

Soooo might be trying to go see this....

WRC comes back to the USA Aug of 2027!
Have not kept up with WRC since the "mid 2000's", but I have always been fascinated by it and would LOVE to see it in person.
The Appalachian Mountains are a great place for rally racing. I hope a team will have the good sense to put Dukes of Hazard livery on their car.
