The entrance at the Longines museum in St-Imier is FREE but they require minimum 24 hours in advance to register via website...
Driving to St-Imier is a bit of a James Bond experience, what a road !

If there's interest in a separate Longines museum topic, I might start one, as I had the opportunity to stay a bit longer to photograph each watch 😉

Thanks for posting, super interesting and made me more excited to be going to Geneva next weekend, Train to Bienne booked for Sunday to do Omega and hopefully waiting in line to get into Patek on Saturday morning for the English language tour.

You really don't need an English language tour for the PP museum, just go at your own pace, the displays have descriptions in English as required.

I've meet with the Longines team at St Imier and they were happy I could make a small contribution with a few high resolution NASA photos...
Certainly looking forward to their upcoming book... For Longines Aficionados By Longines Aficionados !
The Longines museum is superb !

Dial detail on the 1938 Charles Lindberg Hour Angle pilot watch, designed with Philip Van Horn Weems (1889-1979) after Lindbergh's 1927 Trans-Atlantic flight, rotatng bezel and inner rotating dial to determine coordinates.
