Next year, we'll celebrate 50 years Apollo 16 and Apollo 17 as the year 1972 had no Russian spaceflights at all !
2022 will also be five years since we got the excellent SpeedyTuesday magazine !

Just wondering how many people would be interested in seeing a second issue ?

I really couldn’t be bothered.

“chapter 7: straps for your Speedmaster 2022 edition”

“chapter 14: the last 43 limited editions (2018-2021)”

“chapter 22: random b list celebrity likes speedmasters too”

Hard pass, unless it has a chapter on how much Rolex sucks.

@Watch my Whisky
I was more thinking of articles in the lines of:
How Omega digitially scanned Eugene Cernan's 105.003 Speedmaster NASA N° 28 as basis for the new 321 Speedmaster chronographs.
A behind-the-scenes look at the new Omega museum and the Omega Heritage team in Bienne-Biel kanton Bern Switzerland.
1968 Omega Speedmaster chronographs in the plaisted geographic North Pole expedition.
Speedmaster 3861 onboard commercial spaceflight missions ...

Well I would be definitely interested. Since I am late to the party I missed the first issue, I have read the pdf of course but would prefer a real magazine in my hands. And it's always nice if there's something new to look at and read about when it comes to the Speedmaster 😀 I am also convinced there is enough potential for new and interesting stories and content, at least for me 😀

Count me in! I received the magazine about the same time as my interest in Speedys took hold...purchased my ST II soon after and it's been down into the rabbit hole(s) since then!

No shortage on subjects... feel free to browse...

1957-2022 = 65 years Omega Speedmaster
60 years FOIS used on Mercury-Atlas 8 (Walter Schirra CK2998)
60 years... the age Chuck Maddox would have reached by 2022...
Apollo 16 & 17 50th anniversaries, the last lunar missions...
50 years Alaska II Project Speedmaster...
45 years since Russians used ex-Alaska II Speedmaster on Salyut-6...
Will we see the third SpeedyTuesday Speedmaster ?
etc...
Currently I've put up a list of Soviet-Russian cosmonaut delegation visits to Omega HQ in Bienne Switzerland.
The early visits, May 1973 onwards are important to understand the Omega watches behind the Iron Curtain story...
Visits by NASA astronauts are interesting to see the Apollo heroes still visitng Omega HQ in 1990 (Slayton) and 1994 (Stafford, Armstrong)...
📖
Non-Speedy related but interesting = 100 years since Thomas Edward Lawrence completed "The Seven Pillars of Wisdom", IMHO TE Lawrence was the most famous wearer of an Omega wrist watch.

Hi SpeedyPhill,
Did you buy a physical copy of the Speedy Tuesday magazine from Watchtime?
When I click on the link, it seems to only allow me to purchase a download copy of it as the amount says $0.00 in the cart.
Thanks.
Regards,
Ray
