Prior to the leak I’d say no one expected to see a LHD GMT from Rolex.

Personally I’m not a fan of either the green/black colourway nor the crown on the left hand side, even though I actually wear my watches on my right wrist for some reason. This one’s a miss from me.

I’m assuming that is a joke?? Looks awful IMO

When I first saw the mock ups my first thought was “no way will Rolex ever release this”. Clearly wrong. It’s on the website.

I’ve just seen. Not great, and a pretty boring offering from the crown this year. Interesting they’ve modified the air king

The crown is one thing but the date on the left is idiotic. Horrible.

If you wear your watch on your right wrist, the date is in the correct place. If you are wearing the watch under a sleeve, you can easily use the date function as intended. As odd as it looks.

The green isn’t terrible, just not as nice as the blue or Pepsi either, the left hand crown is kind of lame, don’t want that at all.

People have been wearing their watches on their right wrists for many moons, including right handlers who like the benefit of the crown not digging into your hand BTW. It looks upside down.

Of course. It still doesn't change the fact that the date on your watch is easiest accessed if its nearer to your hand.

I can’t ever remember only lifting my sleeve enough to look at a quarter of a watch.

Perhaps you've never checked the date using your watch then.

Many times. I just don’t do it surreptitiously I guess. Do you check your watch like your cards in a game of poker?

I agree. The crown and esp. date on the left side of the dial just looks weird. Not a fan, even if I could afford it.

It won't be obtainable and the people who will be able to get one won't wear it anyway. They could have put the date at the bottom and it wouldn't make the slightest difference 😗

That would make much more sense. Move the date to the bottom, everything is symmetrical and you get the choice of left or right hand versions. They don’t even need new dials or date wheels, just have the cases made so you can mount the movement either way and, when you get the watch, they can rotate the case 180 degrees if you want it backwards.

Agree it kinda looks odd. Like the LHD Pelagos. Don’t worry enough people will buy it & it will become hard to get like all other sports Rolex

Yes. It makes me want to turn the thing upside down

I meant like putting the date on the caseback 😀
