Based on that bezel, this appears instead to be a chronomaster 2.0-like “striking tenth.” See bezel font to far right that appears to be the last few letters of “second” paired with the bezel’s apparently 1/10th second numerical scale.
This would also be consistent with the hand drawing’s bezel layout, shown further above.
If so, that’s may upset some of the 50 people who have the 50th Anniversary triple watch set. Maybe less so the skeletonized/titanium folks. But it’s long been in the marketing that the 3600 movement was zenith’s bet on its “future.”
I see that somebody parted out their 50th Ann set and sold the striking tenth alone at a last-reduced asking price $6,500 (after an initial $10k ask), with what I think was a $16K MSRP?
I like the idea of the technical feat of the 1/10th second bezel register. But have always felt that, at those tolerances, it’s my eyes and finger-push reflexes that are then limiting reagent to accuracy - such that the bezel/complication is rendered purely conceptual and practically speaking useless?
