I agree. Mine are a 565, a 613 and a 552 respectively.
Apart from the looks and time keeping, whilst I'd hate to lose any of them, at the prices I paid, it wouldn't be the end of the world, if you'll excuse the hyperbole 馃榾

First post here although I've lurked in tapa for quite a while.
Figured this was the perfect thread to start this watch out in 馃榾

Found this (what I think is a late 40's 9k gold bumper Omega) at a local pawnshop while looking for a nice seiko 007. Lol!
Had $299.99 on the tag but talked him down to giving it away at $225.!!!
Funny thing is, I only had $50 cash with me so I had to actually layaway it.
Told my fianc茅 and she went and got it out for me while I was back at work.
Now she wants to give it to me for my birthday.
Sounds awesome of her at first glance BUT my birthday isn't until the END OF MAY!
Can't even see it again till then [emoji26]
Oh the first world problems of a watch collector. Lol!

Stunning one and look at this amazing lizard strap !

'66 Constellation, 168.005, cal. 561.
Just about to reply, "<$500? Wow.", but then saw your thread.

There's much to admire about a collector who makes the effort to resurrect a fallen Omega.

And...

I was pretty excited about these two, but it turns out that I have to move them on as soon as I get them 馃檨
It's not all bad though, as the funds will go to pay for a really nice impulse buy. But still...

Let me know if anyone is in the market for any of them.

Blue dial was a catch and release!
Speedy was a regrettable release ;(... wasn't getting enough wrist time!

With auction cost, repair bill and new strap this just sneaks in under $500.
Love your watch! That is definitely on my list! What guy can resist a hummer, ahem?!
