A long 2 months. But now, so sweet. Here is the unboxing. Actually more fun than a new watch unboxing as I was unsure what I would get. They left the tritium dial and hands. It was previously polished, and the new polish did take the case down a little more. I still see some chamfers. I am real happy with the work from Dallas .
Congrats! My favorite sapphire SD! I assume the RSC gave you the option not to have the case and bracelet refinished, correct?
An interesting detail was that I used two additional links in the bracelet before I sent it in for my 9 inch wrist. The two links were Rolex links from a newer model oyster bracelet. These two links had solid center pieces. Those 2 pieces are now gone and replaced by 2 hollow Center links that now match all the other links with the exception of both solid end links. It also came back adjusted at the exact same size and fits me perfectly.
Really great watch, looks fantastic. For those of us out here who may have tritium dial watch, I am curious, did the RSC make any fuss about removing and replacing the tritium dial? Or did you just insist they leave the dial and they agreed?
I only wrote on the form supplied with the mailing instructions, that I wished to keep dial and hands. Also it was the Dallas RSC.
