Hi fellow OFers, Up for sale is my Rolex 16600 Sea-Dweller. It was serviced by Rolex in March of 2021 and is in overall excellent condition. There are minor signs of wear on the bracelet and case, which are captured accurately in the pictures below. The dial, bezel insert, and crystal are without any defects to my unaided eye (please forgive the few flecks of dust on the crystal in some of the pictures). The bracelet has mild to moderate stretch and is currently sized for my 6.75" wrist. There are two additional links included, so the watch should fit up to an 8" wrist. The watch comes with original papers, service card, hang tag, chronometer tag, two removed links (three removal links total), instruction manual, and a newer style Rolex box (not original to the watch). I am asking $8500 plus shipping. No trades. Low ball offers will be ignored. Established members can pay via PayPal Goods and Services. Everyone else can pay via bank wire, possibly with PayPay Friends and Family. The watch is located in Boston - a face to face exchange with an established member in greater Boston area would be ideal. I am a private collector, not a professional dealer. I will only except a refund if the watch is grossly misrepresented – but given the many, many pictures below, I cannot imagine a scenario in which it is.
