·They do an 18ct gold version of this model that I've even seen with matching bracelet. They are really rare and usually appear as NOS examples, though I find it hard to believe any dealer would have sat on a watch like that for 20 years. That's a watch I'd really like to have.

·I like it but not really convinced by the dial. It looks a bit empty (IMHO) with the very classics steel hands, lack of something, I don' know.

·I really like those stainless steel bracelets for this watch. They pop up occasionally on eBay, but I've always been a bit wary about getting the right one.

·Its probably the best value daily wearable dress chronograph you can buy in the Omega family, certainly nothing wrong with a Calibre 861 movement and the styling looks great.
10 years from now I suspect we will read something similar in Hodinkee, highlighting it as a great buy. Within a couple years it will be far from cheap for all the right reasons. A watchmaker told me a couple years ago to keep hold of this one saying that one day collectors will wake up and smell the coffee.
