1989 Speedmasters

I have already commented on this but you keep reposting same photos affirming the same.

a) 345.0808 is a case reference for the Moonwatch case with a see-through case back, not a model

b) it was introduced in 1985 - not 1980 - with the 345.0808 numbered LE of 1000pcs featuring a copper caliber 863, not like yours. Here’s one example :



c) later in 1989, there was another series 1000pces produced, with the new evolution of calibre 863 now gilt, like yours. All numbered on the case back and with no serial engraved under the lug - not like yours. This Limited Edition was celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Apollo XI - not yours.



d) later, from 1990 on the 3592.50 were produced with 345.0808 cases and have all specs like yours, including the serial engraved under the lug.

I’m afraid you really should edit the captions on your photographs… and request an extract from the archives for your serial if you want to be sure of the production date 😉
