·On offer's a great example of what is, in my opinion, the best Datejusts: early 80s, open 6/9 date, still tritium, but with a quickset movement.
CASE: unpolished 36mm, the etchings are clear between the lugs and on the caseback, the case shows mild signs of wear (not bad for 40+years). The crystal's excellent, the original crown screws down correctly, and the bracelet is both a) slightly stretched and b) original to the watch, with a D stamp indicating it's from '79 (the story I've read about the IBM watches is that they were purchased in bulk, hence this watch being from 1980 but dated on the caseback to January of '82). The bracelet should accommodate up to a 7.5" wrist.
DIAL+HANDS: flawless; pictures are the full story, but this is as good/clean as they come.
MVMT: the cal 3035 is running COSC and has been for several months. I don't know the service history.
Also included: original box without insert, original manual without papers.
Watch and I are in Indiana/USA. Happy to answer any questions and provide as many references as requested.
