Today I am offering another watch from my personal collection. This is the first diver I ever bought and subsequently opened my eyes beyond my dress watch tunnel vision.

I fell in love with this model as soon as I set eyes on it. I actually loved this model so much that I bought 4 of these, keeping what I think is the best (no date version) and selling the others. This however is the best of the bunch (I just want the no date one instead) and it comes with original box.

Dial: As you can see for a watch that is 60+ years old, this dial is in good shape, but please observe the pictures closely. This model is famous for its sporty aesthetic that is reminiscent of some other very expensive alternatives by the likes of Longines and such from this period. The dial is black and glossy and the combination of white numerals and creamy lume make a lovely presentation. Hands appear to be original too, with lume in tact.

Case: The case is also in good condition. All chamfers are clearly in tact. The bezel has some wear which is commonplace on divers from this era, and to me actually adds to the overall charm of this piece, it is a used and loved timepiece. It measure approximately 36mm in diameter without crown and the crown appears to be original.

Movement: Original Rotary movement is running well. I've owned this watch for around 4 years and it has been running strong, although I've not had it serviced. I recommend that the buyer has the watch serviced, although this is of course up to your discretion.

Strap: This case fits 18mm wide straps and will be supplied on the black lizard (I think) strap pictured.

Box/papers: Box but no papers.

Please observe all photos and the description with care as I offer no returns.

These are becoming classics, and very hard to get in any condition for under 1000. The fat diamonds are quite rare, even more so than the broad arrow models. Congrats to the new owner!
