This watch is one of the 'fabled' Omegas. The classic CK859, that was recently reintroduced by Omega. This one however, has all the charm of 83 years of history to go with it! A rare and stunning Omega that measured 37/38mm in an era where 33mm and under made up 90% of the market. Dial: As you can see for a watch that is 84 years old, this dial is in good shape, there are some marks and patina so please observe the pictures closely. This dial style is incredibly rare, with a bulls-eye style dial, with small seconds dial, and combination of grey and black areas concentric rings, combined with gold 'mirror' numerals. It is quite difficult to picture, so I've taken pictures in various lighting conditions to help represent it in all sorts of situations. Case: The jumbo 37/38mm case (without crown) is in good condition. All chamfers are clearly in tact. A great example of this iconic case. I do not believe the crown is original, but it is similar replacement. Movement: Classic 30mm movement in first iteration 30 calibre. All working but not tested and no service history, I would recommend a service by the new buyer. Strap: This case fits 20mm wide straps and will be supplied on a grey genuine leather strap, (or buyer can pick from my spares). Box/papers: No box and papers.
