1951 Longines cal. 12.68ZS Jumbo Central Second Mint Dial

Still thinning the herd, next one on the chopping block is a nice and rarely seen oversized Longines 12.68ZS with original dial and central second complication from the early 50ies.

- Serial no. 842.... dates back to ca. 1951
- Cal. 12.68ZS, central second
- Clean original dial without lume
- Gold plated case (37 mm without crown)
- Mix of raised indices and mirror style numerals
- Original unsigned crown
- Generic strap and buckle

Dial and Hands

Very nice and clean original dial with beautiful mirror numerals. Original hands that show some patina.

Case

Nice oversized 37 mm case with stepped bezel in 40 micron yellow gold plated. The case shows some slight patina but no heavy dings or dents.

Movement

Clean Longines cal. 12.68ZS with central second complication. Beautifully finished in-house caliber. The watch winds and sets well and is running strong. However as the service history is not known I would recommend a service if you intend to wear it regularly.
