Appears unpolished There is some tarnishing on the hands and hands look to be replacements. Watch is running but no service history Sold as head only Archive info - The original serial number 8'258'047 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 6250. It is fitted with a Longines self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 22A and was invoiced on 29 November 1951 to the company Longines-Wittnauer, which was at that time our agent for the USA. It looks like it may indeed: I have seen similar shapes on an Alpina and some Mido, all with Borgel/Taubert cases. I'd like to see it in the flesh to be sure though, so take it as an opinion only.
