As part of my general downsizing effort, I am putting up for sale this lovely Mido that I purchased here on OF from @pnwyankee, who in turn bought it from @ConElPueblo. This watch is circa 1954, with a razor sharp stainless steel case with rose gold bezel and a flawless dial. Both @pnwyankee and @ConElPueblo very kindly gave me permission to add links to their previous FS listings. The photos in their listings are much better than I can take with my rudimentary photographic skills. https://omegaforums.net/threads/1950s-mido-multifort-superautomatic-powerwind.137248/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/1950s-mido-multifort-superautomatic-powerwind.109843/ The watch is in exactly the same condition as when I purchased it, as I have not worn it since purchase, except that I upgraded the strap a bit. I am not looking to make a profit on this watch but merely to recoup my cost, which is $525 plus shipping with the new strap. A CONUS sale is easiest for me, but I will entertain the possibility of international shipping on a case-by-case basis.
Sunday bump. Some interest, but still available. This watch is in collector condition, ladies and gentlemen.
Probably the best looking, I'll second this. One of, if not the, best preserved vintage watches I've owned. Most other Taubert et Fils cases are put to shame by this one and both dial and hands are stunning.
I held this watch yesterday, and would likely have it in my collection if I wasn't leaving good friend @rbob99 with TWO watches already in hand!! This example is razor sharp, has a very nice wrist presence, and is undoubtedly all original...it is an extremely cool and affordable watch!
