Noob tax has many meanings. i will choose the most polite one: Buy whatever you want, ask here for advice , learn the Truth and try yo avoid the same mistake in the future.
Turn Ignorance into Expertise. And whatever you do here: Word it Politely. That always helps with Future Questions, you may have. kind regards. Achim
Thank you, Achim.
I thought I've been polite in my messages, if I wasn't, I apologize.

I think so because Omega logo and writings are so well executed, because subdial has got concentric working and indexes are well executed, because Swiss Made writing is well executed and reminds me of similar writings of fifties period black dials with a kind of glossy finish.
So I apologize with all people here, 'cause it seems I'm the only one with a different opinion, but I still think that's an original fifties black "glossy" dial.
I do not have to buy it, I do not know the person who asked for advice about this watch, I was just discussing about a dial on an Omega Forum.
I won't do it again, because it makes me feel bad when someone writes it's repainted for sure because someone else (who has seen thousands Omega dials) says that.

Why don't you spend some time to search for another original dial with rounded logo like that one?

And why don't you spent some time learning when Omega stopped using this type of logo and used the rounded one?

Thank you, very kind of you.
I beg your pardon, I thought you were writing about wording politely.
Never mind.
Kind regards.

Achim, I'm a forensic doctor, I'm sorry but I think you don't exactly know what you've written. A fact.
Kind regards.

To all Gentlemen who took part.
It's enough for me, thank you.
I was just trying to discuss about a dial (please read what I wrote, "could be", "my opinion" and so on).
What I got is that I have to pay "noob tax" (I thought I payed it 25-30 years ago, when I began looking for vintage wristwatches), that I'm wrong because someone else says that, that I'm showing signs of cognitive dissonance.
My interest in vintage wristwatches is just my hobby and don't justify being treated in such a way.
I won't ever express an opinion about a dial.
Have a nice day.
Mario
