1940s omega watch?

Hello,

I found my grandfathers old omega watch, which I think is from around the 1940s era? It is 30mm in diameter. I have done some research but can't seem to find this particular model anywhere. If anyone knows anything about this watch I would love to know!

I know the inside of the watch would give me more detail and I’m planning on bringing it to a watchmakers soon but any info would be much appreciated!

At a glance it looks like a reference 2165. When you get the caseback off look for a CS(I) stamp inside, like this example:

Agree with @Vitezi. Could be a CSI issue.
Looks to be a lovely condition dial under that crystal.
A very nice pass me down.
