Hello guys,

Just did a deal with someone on Facebook for this watch. Not much info online wondered if anyone knew much about this type? All looks good to me, but can’t find any to compare with.

Sometimes patina can turn me off a watch but in this case I think it gives it a lot of character 😀

Thanks a lot!

Ollie

Looks like a nicely-aged 1940s UK-cased Omega in steel, with the original box and fragile lume still in the hands. Might even have the original crown and strap it was sold with! Well done!

That looks nice! I have similar hands in another watch, but mine haven't aged so well.

I'm too lame to figure it out - what's the case diameter and what caliber sits in there? Is it cal.30(T2?)? 35mm-ish case?

Most of the Dennisons are 33-34mm.

Beautiful watch, Ollie!

Better select a secured method of payment like Paypal! Fb cannot refund you...

Exactly, if it wasn’t for the way it has aged I don’t think I would have bought it. It just really captivated my imagination! 😀

I believe this one is 33.5mm but I’ll let everyone know when it arrives 😀

Interestingly this Dennison 13322 case has fixed strap bars, often a sign of military heritage. This case was used to re-case some military watches post WW2 and is sometimes seen with the dial/hands layout of the Omega 6B/159, also the wonderful Longines COSD. Obviously, the vast majority was used for many civilian watches too although I don't recognise this as a former military watch. I think that Dennison produced 10,000 of these 13322 cases in stainless steel and a small amount with a plated mid case.
Fabulous watch, congratulations.

Yeah I couldn't find any with this particular dial through my searches, I was hoping someone here might have seen one during their collecting years 😀

Btw...How much you have to pay ?😉

Haha, I got it for a fair price I think. Not a bargain, but not overpriced either. But then again, there were none others of the same model that I could compare against on ebay or elsewhere. I offered what I felt comfortable 😀

Sadly the strap arrived torn off? Perhaps the seller thought he was helping me by removing it.... it’s literally in pieces is there any point saving it or should I just throw it away? No way it’s going back on the watch now... also do you think this is grounds for a partial refund or should I just let it be as it was “on it’s way out” so to speak. I wasn’t going to use it myself but I was a little disappointed to have not been given the option of what I wanted to do with the strap. Also no buckle attached so can’t reuse it in a new strap. Should I just bin it?
