Hi Folks:
A friend of mine inherited this beauty. Trying to date it and get a ballpark on value assuming it is fully operational.

Many Thanks!

Probably from the 60s and probably not solid gold. Looks nice nonetheless.

This is certainly post 1955 as it is a 105.001 based on lugs and dial, etc. And it is for sure not solid gold. 14K/18K models came in solid casebacks, so this is most likely gold-plated (less desirable - unless mint) and gold-capped (slightly more desirable). But value-wise these would trail the solid steel and obviously the solid gold ones. These are worth right around the 3K US$ mark presently.

Gold-filled IMO. We need better photos if you really want an attempt at valuation since there appears to be condition issues with the gold-plating. If there is brassing on the lugs, it will kill the value. Hopefully I'm wrong and the plating is intact.

I believe yours is gold-plated with a stainless steel caseback. Here's one just like it on eBay--in rough shape--going for $4k.

It has "T SWISS T", so it has to be post-1961. I agree about the price - I have seen 321 Seamaster go for quite little on auctions.
