Hello Gents,

Seller has posted this beauty for 6175eur.
Thinking whether it's not a bit overpriced.

It's worth nowhere near asking. I believe this is a counterfeit case and bracelet with a repainted dial. It's interesting to see how the seller describes this '6K EUR' watch.

It looks like a non Swiss case, possibly French. It has a pinky tone so maybe 18k rose gold. It’s seen a fair amount of polishing and the dial has definitely been redone. Crown is not original either. No idea on the bracelet but even if solid 18k the total value is nowhere near €6175.

There’s your confirmation- French eagle-head hallmark.
Shame -it was probably a very beautiful watch once upon a time.

@skowron why did you title the thread 168.005/6?

Have you seen the inner case back or is that what the advert says?

I keep having a hard time spotting it. What makes the dial an obvious redial?

Look closely at the last n in Constellation, for instance.

He describes it as:
Omega Constellation Pie Pan in 18k gold, with an 18k gold bracelet. (The weight of the bracelet alone is 39 g) Original box. Watch serviced renovated .

So the conclusion here is that this watch is a zombie comprised of different omega watches and the case wasn't omega at all?
or more like: the watch is a zombie made from different omega watches?

As usuall, thanks for all the knowledge!

Seller speak for "redialed" or worse. Looks like someone mixed up the indices around 8 o' clock.

Indeed. I think the case is legit, just heavily polished. The dial has been redialed and obviously the whole thing wasn’t a professional job. I’d stay well clear of this one.

The reason I asked was that a French case would likely be marked 168.3005 not 168.005.

For clarity, the watch isn’t a’zombie’ it’s a French cased Constellation sanctioned by Omega to circumvent import charges.
Omega-sanctioned Gold cases for Constellations were also produced in England amongst other places.

No where near that asking price, such a crappy redial watch. And at that asking price, they can’t even find a correct crown for it, what a shame.

As @MtV mentioned about the “n”, I added the picture that might be used for future comparison.😀
