Just wondering opinions and if anyone on the forum might be aware of this example being auctioned off on goodwill.com. Up to $1400 with quite a bit of time left..

It's had a hard life........"rode hard and put up wet"

But will clean up well in the right hands.....except it will always be highly-polished over and that's a biggie.

And.....look at that medallion, a shame.

It’s definitely had a hard life and the pics show neglect for many years. The lugs are well polished/worn and have gone beyond what’s acceptable for my tastes.
It will clean up but the condition will still only be fair to average.

And missing the bezel? Or is that just grunge?

I‘d say dirt - if it was missing the bezel, the gap would look different between lugs and plexi. Still, a pass for me, too.

I definitely wouldn't purchase this particular example. I came across it while looking at old iPods on the website. Thought it make make an interesting conversation. Seems odd someone would engrave something in the inner circle above the observatory.. Looks like it says $4249CN

Is the bracelet solid gold? That could add $1000s in melt value depending on weight and gold content.

Hard to tell if dirt and scratches on the dial or just on the crystal.
May clean up.
I wouldn't pay 4,249 CAD for it
