Most likely yes but I've not seen any swaps of the 3861 dials for other versions yet. The second sub-marks will be technically 'off' for the chrono second hand because of the different beat rates of the 3861 movement if that is of importance. It would be an automatic deal breaker for some. So far most are going ape over the applied Omega logo on the sandwich model and the general positive feel of the 3861 dials.

The beat rate of the 3861 is the same as the 1861 that the Mitsukoshi dial comes from, so this concern isn't real...

So it seems all of the previous dials with the 1861 over the years were incorrect and Omega is just fixing it with the new dials? Better late than never. I somehow thought the rate with the 3861 was different, thanks for clarifying.

thank you both! @Archer any insight/idea yet on whether the previous dial feet etc.. (pardon my ignorance here) would work on the new movement?

I am also very curious whether other 1861 parts fit the 3861 watches:
-dials
-hands
-bezels
