168.024 Potential First Purchase? Advice Needed

Hey Guys,

I've come across this 168.024 and I'm thinking it could be "The one". I really like the watch and the dial just is really speaking to me!

To my untrained eye I can't see too much wrong with it. Some scratches on the lugs and maybe the case has had a polish or two??

If any of you guys could tell me whether this is a lemon or not I'd really appreciate it!!

Thanks in advance!17757631-zmgow3rtfn4ndtwqte7koit9-Zoom.jpg 17757631-tw4roqzqat72bbm1uebfnvj6-Zoom.jpg 17757631-2urrq1a45nhktoom9t56jmtv-Zoom.jpg 17757631-2egtlwgtvdaz1l4wpyp0idn5-Zoom.jpg 17757631-2z3uo1rewiw8z16w4a07tdye-Zoom.jpg

Hey! Thanks for the quick response. I did notice that. But on the first pic doesn't seem to be there so I assumed it was just some dirt on the crystal rather than floating around in there? But could definitely confirm that with the seller before purchasing.

Anything else look out of line do you think?

Priced at 1750 USD

Seller also offers this "Constellation" which is a Seamaster with a Constellation dial...

EDIT: He states the changed dial in his description

It looks like the Chrono24 logo, which is on all their photos.

It looks nice but I’d want to know the price and see the movement

It's listed as £1250 but hopefully a little room for negotiation

Yes, I bought this one last year and the logo crosses the tail of the second hand.

The seller is listed as a professional dealer so he’ll probably come down a bit. The bracelet is worth a couple of hundred.
And a well preserved 5** movement can last a couple of lifetimes.
Good luck

Looks really nice :)

One thing: Unless it's stated in the add, make sure to ask for what wrist size the bracelet is good. Extra links aren't necessarily easy to come by and if so at cost.

Now it's only Tuesdays in uneven weeks.
