168.005 Pie-Pan Question about the case/bezel

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding this Pie-Pan I was about to buy.

As you can see, the bezel isn’t perfectly round and has a small space at 3 o’ clock to pull the crown more easily. I have seen it on some 166.010 Seamasters but never on a 168.005 Constellation.

Do you think it’s legit, or has the bezel been changed?

Thanks for your help

A dogleg bezel does not have a cut out like the one you show.

Would any Seamaster bezel fit this Connie? If not, perhaps this bezel is original, but "modified"?

it looks more or less correct for a dogleg bezel but I don't know why anyone would need to modify it - With the crown pushed in it shouldn't interfere with the bezel.

Maybe a bodging watchmaker cut the stem too short and filed the bezel as a workaround.

that was my first thought too - but I checked and there is no gap between the crown and the mid case when it is pushed fully in.
So, the only explanation would be that the bezel overhangs the mid case - which would make it an incorrect bezel.
A picture of the back and/or side of the watch would tell us more.
