166.027 Seamaster 120 - Service Dials Available?

The feet are broken on my dial, and I'd like to know if Omega has service dials available if I were to send the watch to them for a service. I called Omega to ask yesterday, and they were basically no help.

Does anyone happen to know if Omega has this part available, or if there is a better way to contact them regarding this question than the number on their US site?

I also tried submitting a question through their site but kept getting an error message from their contact form.

Thanks OF!

I would imagine there will be dials available for this and they appear on eBay every now and then (one sold at the end of March), another solution would be if @Archer can help
Good luck

It is possible to install new dial feet to your original dial. Reach out to someone with a good rep (Archer if you're in the US or Canada).

Thank you, we actually discussed that possibility in another thread, and Archer recommended using dial dots instead. The consensus was that reattaching feet ran too much risk of irreversibly damaging the dial to be worth it.

Are you referencing this one?

If so, I was watching it, but it’s for the no-date reference 165.027.

If you’re referring to a different auction, would you mind sharing a link? Because I totally missed it and
might need to adjust my saved searches on ebay.

That dial is for a 135.027.
If I were you I'd use dialpads for the moment and keep an eye out for a replacement dial on eBay etc.
Forget about getting a dial from Omega, even if they had a service dial, and I don't think one is available, it would have luminova not tritium markers so wouldn't look good.

Right... no automatic on the dial. Should have been obvious to me. I’d like to blame that on not having had my coffee, but I was thinking it was the automatic reference the entire time it was in my watchlist ::facepalm1::

I didn’t realize service dials wouldn’t be tritium, so thank you for the heads up. Dial dots for now and keeping an eye on ebay is the approach I think I will take, especially after happening across this thread last night:

Just to confirm - no dials available for this from Omega.

Unless you’re lucky enough to find a replacement dial, your options are to use dial dots or to solder the feet. Be prepared to have to refinish the dial if you choose the latter.

Thank you for the image, but based on the grey text, I believe that is one of the fake dials outlined in some of OF’s threads regarding these references.

No shame in dial dots if it retains an original dial. I have one or two (non-Omega) watches where they were used thanks to broken feet and you would never know.

It's often considered "hack work" but given that I haven't yet found a way of attaching feet that is foolproof (will always work and would never damage the dial) I opt for these to preserve dials. It's completely reversible, and doesn't do any damage, so for me it's the best of the "do no harm" approach for now.
