Hi, SM 300 is always difficult for me due my lack of experience Would some of you be so kind to give me some input / feedback on an example? (Price is to be negotiated) Watch is declared as 1967, so sn 2560... is in the correct range. EOA is there The bezel is a bit difficult for me, is it this one? Is there no tirtium in the 5 minute markers??? Or no tritium at all? Is it "D" from here? If yes "D" is noted for CB production only but the one for sale is HF Case seems to be in good condition, the caseback is a bit worn. Crown is original I think The lume looks good as far as I can see both on hands and dial. there seem to be some irregularities around the lume dots, for example at 8 and 9. These could be signs for a relume but they are very slight. What do you think??? So, curious what you think, thanks again for supporting me on that! Here some more pics:
I leave it to the experts but I just wanted to say that is a super attractive shade the lume! Edit: Seems like the lume is indeed TOO nice
My 2 cents. Relume with a service bezel and non original glass. But far better calls by people who really know.
Lume might look nice, but it's still a relumed dial/hands. Below is how the watch looked before the relume etc. - and yes, it's the same watch or at least the movement/serial is for sure. And this is a november 67 production, so should be a CB case /caseback. This one has been through at least one seller with a history of SM300 examples. I wouldn't touch it, if you're looking for an authenic one.
Impressive that the person who relumed the dial was able to preserve the pinholes at 6 and 12 o’clock. On most examples I’ve seen the relume covers the pinhole up and is usually a giveaway.
Thank you gents for your feedback, helped me a lot. Will pass it for sure Using the questions / points raised here I will be able to look more expereinced at the next one. Great to have the opportunity to be a member here! Thanks
