Did I miss something or this is way overpriced for cal. 551 dial?

Yes, it’s way too expensive.
Especially since it is marked and appears to be for a 168.004
(Edit: it seems the 004 reference is simply the sellers cataloguing system not a watch reference)
A gold deluxe dial probably only adds a couple of hundred (£,€,$) to an 18k watch.
But as is often said, if you need one, try to find another.

what makes you think it is a redial?

IMHO second "O" in Chronometer looks sloppy and every other O looks different. Also, MOY line is not centered.

Here’s mine, see if you can spot any differences.

The second O in chronometer is often slightly peculiar as is the C in officially - who knows why, it's just an Omega thing.
And the font between words does vary.
Again, as is often said, the MOY test is good except where it isn't.
Very nice example from @Noddyman !

That sellers idea of perfect and mine differ quite considerably.

It is a 18k gold dial with a 561 movement coming with correct hand set.
A 168.006 is worth about $5000. I know some people willing to pay that price and the price is reasonable to them.

@Peemacgee thanks for the info. I was under impression that print has to be "perfect" as much as it can be. Obviously, @Noddyman has genuine example with same "sloppy" O.

My brain hurts from all possible combinations! 🤨

Glad to learn something new today!

A 168.006 is the deluxe version of the 18k dogleg 168.005 (I.e. with solid gold dial)
They are very desirable and few and far between hence the value Hoi put on one.

Some skilled craftsmen can make 18k 006 cases for it. Be careful! 🙁

What would be price of watch with second dial posted (cal. 505, would say 2852/3) compared to .006? And desirability between two of them? Thanks guys👍

006 and 2853? Very much the same.
But the 2853 with stepped dial costs you more.
