I was recently offered an excellent example of a 145.022-69 ST however it was fitted with a 1171 bracelet with 575 end links.
This is the second 145.022-69 ST I've seen fitted with a 1171 bracelet, according to various references the 145.022-69 ST was not sold new with the 1171bracelet. Is this common?

That isnt an 1171 bracelet. Looks more like the 1116 (which does use the 575 end links). That would be correct for a ~1967-1970 delivered watch

The 1171 with screws is seen in the early 1970s so yes it could turn up on a late -69 model I suppose but it is more widely seen on the -71 model onwards. The 1171/1 with pins isn't seen until the 1980s

Agree.
The band is a 1116 with the correct 575 end links.

look in the inside of the loop, there should be number 1116. it conforms to -69st, less common than 1171.

ps: you received a nice gift !

I've had plenty of 145.022-69's with the 1116/575 bracelet.

Very comfortable bracelet by the way ... I love wearing mine...😁
And not so easy to find nowadays, with both 575...😲

2017 edition of Moonwatch Only page 195 - I’d agree it’s a 1116/575.
