145.012 - Opinions on hands / originality much appreciated

I have a 105.012-66 CB with that dial but the plots are completely white. I wonder if Omega regularly 'cleaned' these plots during service as it seems there are a lot of this age of dial with plots where the tritium has been removed

Thanks for the replies and advice - they have been most helpful. I've decided not to go ahead with this piece in the end. I will remain patient on the hunt for a good, original example which I believe I will get one day!
